Activities in the Research Station of the Light House of cap Salines. Between the 9th and 12th November IMEDEA participated in the Week of Science of Mallorca 2009 organising seminars and experimental workshops addressed to high school students at the Research Station of the Light House of Cap Salines (Mallorca, Spain). The aim of the activities organised was to inform the students about Climate change impacts to Arctic marine ecosystems. The following talks were given: "Arctic climate change impacts", Oceanographic missions in polar regions" and Climate change impacts on Greenland coastal zone". Experiments were organised to demonstrate the albedo, thermal seawater expansion, sea ice loss and seawater acidification. A total of 120 students from three public high schools of mallorca (IES Calvià, IES Santanyi and IES Son Pacs) participated in these activities.
